Cookies

In addition to the aforementioned data, cookies are stored on your computer when you use our website. Cookies are small text files assigned to the browser you use, stored on your hard drive, and through which certain information flows to the party setting the cookie (in this case, us). Cookies cannot execute programs or transmit viruses to your computer. They serve to make the internet offering as a whole more user-friendly and efficient.

a) This website uses the following types of cookies, whose scope and functionality are explained below:

  • Transient cookies (see b)

  • Persistent cookies (see c)

b) Transient cookies are automatically deleted when you close the browser. These include session cookies in particular. They store a session ID, which allows various requests from your browser to be assigned to the shared session. This enables your computer to be recognized when you return to our website. Session cookies are deleted when you log out or close the browser.

c) Persistent cookies are automatically deleted after a specified period, which can vary depending on the cookie. You can delete cookies in your browser’s security settings at any time.

d) You can configure your browser setting according to your preferences, for instance, by refusing third-party cookies or all cookies. Please note that you may not be able to use all features of this website if you do this.

e) Flash cookies used are not captured by your browser but by your Flash plug-in. We also use HTML5 storage objects, which are stored on your device. These objects store necessary data independently of the browser used and do not have an automatic expiration date. To prevent the use of Flash cookies, you need to install a corresponding add-on, such as "Better Privacy" for Mozilla Firefox (https://addons.mozilla.org/de/firefox/addon/betterprivacy/) or the Adobe-Flash-Killer-Cookie for Google Chrome. You can prevent the use of HTML5 storage objects by using the private mode in your browser. Additionally, we recommend regularly deleting your cookies and browser history manually.

YouTube Privacy

This website integrates components from YouTube, a video portal that enables video publishers to upload clips and other users to view, rate, and comment on them. YouTube permits the publication of various videos, including full-length films, TV shows, music videos, trailers, or user-created videos.

The operating company of YouTube is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA, a subsidiary of Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Pkwy, Mountain View, CA 94043-1351, USA.

When viewing integrated videos, the used internet browser is automatically prompted by the respective YouTube component to download a display of the YouTube component from YouTube. Through this process, YouTube and Google are informed about which specific subpage of our website the affected person visited.

If the affected person is simultaneously logged into YouTube, YouTube recognizes which specific subpage of our website they visited. YouTube and Google collect this information and associate it with the respective YouTube account of the affected person.

YouTube and Google receive information via the YouTube component whenever the affected person visits our website while logged into YouTube. If such information transmission is not desired, the person can prevent it by logging out of their YouTube account before visiting our website.

The YouTube data protection provisions available at https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy provide information on the collection, processing, and use of personal data by YouTube and Google.

Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service by Google Inc. Google Analytics uses cookies (text files) stored on your computer, enabling an analysis of your use of the website. Information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is generally transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. For more information on handling user data by Google Analytics, see Google's data privacy policy at https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=de.

On this website, IP anonymization is activated. As a result, Google truncates your IP address within EU member states or in other countries that are party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there.

ENA Office has instructed Google to use this information to evaluate your use of the website, compile reports on website activity, and provide additional services related to website and internet usage. For cases where personal data is transferred to the USA, Google has committed to the EU-US Privacy Shield, https://www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework.

The legal basis for using Google Analytics is Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 (f) GDPR. The IP address transmitted by your browser in connection with Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.

A data processing agreement with Google has been signed, ensuring compliance with German data protection authorities’ strict requirements when using Google Analytics.

You can prevent cookie storage by adjusting your browser software settings. Please note that in this case, you may not be able to use all website functions to their full extent. You can also prevent Google from collecting and processing data generated by the cookie related to your use of the website (including your IP address). To do this, download and install the browser plug-in available at: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.

You can also prevent Google Analytics from collecting your data by clicking the following link. An opt-out cookie will be set. Click here to opt-out.

In addition to the purely informational use of our website, we offer various services for you to use if you are interested. To use these services, you generally need to provide additional personal data, which we use to provide the respective service and for which the aforementioned data processing principles apply.

We may use external service providers to process your data. These providers are carefully selected, bound by our instructions, and regularly monitored.

We may also share your personal data with third parties if we offer promotions, competitions, or similar services with partners. You will receive further information on this when providing your personal data.

If our service providers or partners are located outside the European Economic Area (EEA), we will inform you of the consequences of this in the offer description.

SSL Encryption

This page uses SSL encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as requests you send to us as the site operator. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the browser address bar changing from "http://" to "https://" and by the padlock symbol in your browser’s address bar.

When SSL encryption is activated, data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

Some of our subpages contain hyperlinks to other websites not operated by ENA OFFICE GmbH. We do not monitor these websites and are not responsible for their content or handling of personal data.

Objection or Revocation of Your Data Processing Consent

If you have given consent to process your data, you can revoke it at any time by simply sending an email to hello@ena-office.com. Such revocation affects the admissibility of processing your personal data after you have expressed it to us.

If we base the processing of your personal data on an interest assessment, you may object to processing. This applies especially if processing is not necessary to fulfill a contract with you, which we explain in the following description of the functions. If you raise an objection, please explain why we should not process your personal data as we have. In the case of your justified objection, we will examine the situation and either stop or adapt the data processing or demonstrate our compelling legitimate grounds for continuing the processing.

Of course, you may object to the processing of your personal data for advertising and data analysis purposes at any time. You can inform us of your objection to advertising at hello@ena-office.com.
